Owner, Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Thomas is an experienced Audiologist with more than 40 years in the field and has proudly served patients throughout Northeast Georgia since 1988. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, she earned her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and her graduate degree in Audiology from the University of Montevallo. She later earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2000.
Throughout her career, Dr. Thomas has worked closely with Ear, Nose and Throat physicians in both private practice and hospital settings. In 2003, she founded her own audiology practice with a commitment to providing personalized, patient-centered hearing care and developing lasting relationships with the patients and families she serves.
Dr. Thomas is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Georgia and was a founding member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is also a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA) and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA). She is certified by the Tinnitus Practitioners Association (TPA) and as a Center of Specialty Care with the American Institute of Balance (AIB).
One of Dr. Thomas’s greatest passions throughout her career has been finding unique, individualized solutions to the everyday challenges her patients experience with hearing and communication. Her connection to the military community has also made serving veterans especially meaningful to her. As the child of a military parent and the mother of a child with a career in the United States Air Force, she has a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by service members and their families.
Dr. Thomas currently lives in Watkinsville, Georgia, with her husband. Outside of audiology, she enjoys traveling, and exploring her creativity as an accomplished fused-glass artist. Her dedication to both her patients and her community continues to be at the heart of her work.
