Partner, Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Nathan K. Griffin is a Clinical Audiologist originally from Southeast Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and his Doctor of Audiology degree from Lamar University. During his fourth-year residency, Dr. Griffin further developed his clinical skills while working with an ENT practice in East Tennessee.
Dr. Griffin joined the Hearing + Balance Clinics family in 2021 and currently serves patients in Watkinsville, Lavonia, Loganville, and the surrounding communities. He is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Georgia and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA). He is also certified as a Center of Specialty Care with the American Institute of Balance (AIB) and holds certifications from the International Auditory Processing Disorder Institute (API), and the American Board of Audiology in Tinnitus Management (CH-TM).
With experience caring for patients of all ages, Dr. Griffin provides comprehensive audiometric evaluations for both adults and children, auditory processing disorder evaluations and therapy, vestibular diagnostics, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, and ongoing hearing aid care. He is committed to utilizing evidence-based best practices while providing personalized care tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
Dr. Griffin’s favorite part of being an audiologist is building meaningful connections with his patients and providing the support they need to reach their goals. He especially enjoys helping patients reconnect with the conversations, relationships, and experiences that are important to them.
Dr. Griffin currently lives in Bogart, Georgia, with his partner and their dogs, Sutton and Delta. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys collecting rare tropical plants, spending weekends in East Tennessee with friends, visiting family back in Texas, biking, exploring nature trails, and traveling the world.
