Before you book to come and see our patient care coordinator about Bluetooth troubleshooting, we encourage that you run through this quick checklist to see if one of these could solve your connectivity issue:

  • Did you remember your Bluetooth device and phone login information correctly?
  • Do you close all of your apps nightly or at the first sign of Bluetooth connectivity issues?
  • Did you restart your phone and make sure to do so at least once a week?
  • Is your phone’s operating system updated to the latest software version available?

If the answer to all of those is yes, then our patient care coordinator would be happy to help you with any of the following:

  • Ensuring the firmware on your hearing device is updated to the latest version.
  • Device check to ensure that the physical components within the hearing device that are required for Bluetooth functionality are working correctly.
  • Clearing pairings to Bluetooth devices within the hearing device, utilizing the programming software for your hearing device.

  • Walking you through pairing or re-pairing your hearing devices to your phone.
  • Basic troubleshooting focusing on user error.
  • Identifying and education on known issues with operating software updates as it pertains to Bluetooth functionality.
  • Helping you with locating and adjusting specific settings within your specific phone for your specific hearing devices.
