Patient Care Coordinator

The Hearing + Balance Clinics in Northeast GA is looking for additional Patient Care Coordinators to join our team. Our ideal candidates are team oriented, patient focused, reliable, and interested in learning. We have clinics located in Watkinsville, Loganville, and Lavonia. Priority will be given to candidates willing to travel between offices as needed based on the applicant's geographic location.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, the right candidate will play a critical role in helping deliver patient success.

This includes:

  • Communicating with patients and their families with compassion and patience
  • Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in person and over the phone
  • Answering the phone while maintaining polite, consistent phone manners
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
  • Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information
  • Verifying patient insurance information either via internet or by phone
  • Response to inquiries by prospective patients and visitors in a courteous manner
  • Protects patient confidentiality making sure information is protected according to HIPAA
  • Must have above average computing and typing skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills

  • Preference for background experience in EMR
  • Ability to handle face paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
  • Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, and customer service skills
  • Experience in Audiology a benefit but not a requirement
  • Experience in medical field preferred

The base wage is $16-18 and includes a structured career-journey for growth that can see our experienced members of the team working their way through different wage brackets.
